It has been far too long since I have posted a blog, and I apologize to those blog addicts!
Owen is still doing amazingly well! I am amazed every single day when he wakes up with a smile and is still able to walk, etc-He is still the same little awesome kid. You would never know that he had so many of these awful tumors growing in his brain. Denial is sooo easy when he appears to be doing so well!
Since my last post, we went to Sesame Place over Memorial Weekend, went to Niagara Falls and rode the Maid of the Mist, and Owen's handprint is now up on the wall at Strong Museum in Rochester (which we have yet to see). Owen also participated in the Relay for Life at Akron high school, where he had the honor of cutting the ribbon, along with my Aunt Marybeth, to begin the relay and take the first lap around the track-The suvivors lap. And what a survivor he is...
I will post again soon, along with pictures and stories of Sesame Place and the other things we have been doing. I hope everyone is well...

Sesame Place!!

We took a trip to Sesame Place over Memorial weekend. It was very fun! The park is geared for younger children, so it was perfect for Owen (and Anthony, in fact! He had a blast, too!) Owen loved meeting all of the characters, and, in fact, we bought him Starburst candy, and he picked out a yellow one and gave it to Big Bird, an orange one for Zoe, a red one for Elmo, and a pink one for Abby Caddaby!! Too cute!
